This Monday the UFC will head to Fairfax, Virginia for UFC Fight Night 20: Aaron Simpson vs Tom Lawlor.
The UFC usually doesn’t hold events on a Monday and this coming week they will go head-to-head with Monday Night Raw but Dana White wants to let everyone know that there is no rivalry between UFC-WWE

Aaron Simpson (6-0) has already won his first two appearances with the UFC, finishing Tim McKenzie at Fight Night 18 and Ed Herman at UFC 102 by TKO. His fight against Herman is one you will easily recognize from the UFC 102 preliminary card, because Simpson took out the former TUF fighter on a takedown which injured his knee.
Tom Lawlor (6-1) is coming into this bout with a win over Simpson’s Arizona Combat Sports teammate CB Dollaway at UFC 100 by submission (Guillotine choke). It will be interesting to see if that fact will work it’s way into the pre-fight talk between the two fighters as the fight approaches.
It has only been a day since the initial announcement that the UFC would book Fight Night 20 for January, but three fights have already been rumored for the event.
